About

Fósfora

Fósfora is a film production company based in Santiago, Chile, housed in the collective space of Casa Fósfora. Its first production, Merrimundi, had its world premiere at the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in 2025.

Casa Fósfora

Casa Fósfora is a space in the Bellavista neighborhood of Santiago, Chile, that brings together filmmakers, animators, artists and other creative workers. It opened at the beginning of 2026 and houses a constellation of collectives and individuals who share a community of creation and experimentation.

With a film laboratory, post-production facilities, studios and an exhibition space, Casa Fósfora proposes a model built on a diverse artistic community: a place to make work, share experience and exhibit what is made.

It is a creative factory, a meeting place and a cultural space devoted to fostering relationships and bringing different artistic fields together. It is also a place of education and encounter, where students do internships, workshops are held, and artists and filmmakers are invited to show their work.
